1. Introduction
TestSBTI ("we", "us", or "our") is a free, entertainment-only personality quiz available at testsbti.net. This Privacy Policy explains what limited information we process when you use the site and what choices you have. By using TestSBTI, you agree to the practices described below.
2. Data We Collect
We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or any directly identifying information. We process only standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention, anonymized Google Analytics 4 events (pageviews, basic device type, country), and your quiz answers and results stored only in your browser localStorage on your device. Quiz answers and results are never transmitted to our servers.
3. Cookies & Local Storage
TestSBTI uses localStorage on your device to remember your in-progress quiz state and result so you can return without retaking the test. You can clear this at any time through your browser site settings. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies for anonymized measurement; you can block these through standard browser controls or extensions.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on Cloudflare for hosting and CDN (which processes server logs) and Google Analytics 4 for anonymized usage analytics. These providers operate under their own privacy policies. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share data with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the site.
5. Children Privacy
TestSBTI is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the site, please contact us and we will investigate.
6. GDPR Rights (EU and UK)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection regarding personal data we hold about you. Because we do not collect identifying information beyond standard server logs, most requests resolve to a confirmation that no identifiable record exists. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
7. CCPA Rights (California)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act provides rights to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. TestSBTI does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We respond to verifiable consumer requests in line with the CCPA.
8. Data Retention
Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for the duration of their standard log retention window (typically 7 to 30 days) and then deleted or rotated. Analytics data follows Google Analytics retention defaults. Quiz answers and results stored in your browser localStorage remain on your device until you clear them.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
